Last night I dreamed something that would make a cute movie, I think. It was one of my third person dreams, the ones I don't appear in. A woman, recently divorced or widowed, decides that she only wants to sleep with men she hates because she never wants to fall in love again. A man, who is attracted to her, pretends to be an obnoxious prick so that she will sleep with him, which she does. And of course, she falls in love with him anyway, but refuses to get involved with him because she thinks he is an obnoxious prick. I think it's got possibilities. I am toying with the idea of having them both be lawyers, but she especially refuses to date any lawyers, so he pretends to be a bike messenger. I know it's kinda frothy, but anyway, that's what I dreamed.
OK, just wanted to get that out before I forgot it. Now, as to your dreams. Yes, flying higher to get away from the nay-sayers is good, metaphorically as well as really. Just don't fly too high, remember Icarus.
I used to dream that I was driving a car and the brakes went out, so that I couldn't stop it. The interpretation of that dream doesn't take Freud, does it? |
