NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 3, 2000--Track Data Corporation (Nasdaq:TRAC - news) today began ``The $20,000 Guess,' a new contest for its myTrack members. Users of the online trading service are invited to guess the first day myTrack reaches 20,000 trades in a single day. The prize for guessing the correct date is $20,000.
``About six weeks ago, we ran a contest for $10,000 for passing the 10,000 daily trade mark,' said Barry Hertz, Track Data Chairman and CEO, ``but we began passing 1,000-trade milestones very quickly and the contest was over a week after the guessing ended. Guessing when we'll break the 20,000 mark is a more substantial challenge.'
``Any of the over 110,000 myTrack members who have downloaded the software and registered are eligible to enter a guess,' Hertz continued. ``If you are not a myTrack member yet, you can download the software for free from our web site.'
