No, that quote was nowhere near the same.

I haven't figured out exactly what the suggestion about McCain on the houses is. Lots of people who are married to wealthy spouses don't know much about that spouse's business. I've seen many, many clients who kept their personal "family" wealth separate in every respect from his/her spouse. The spouse may live in real estate owned by the spouse, or even by the family, but needs no intricate knowledge of it.

This is a bogus argument all the way around. Everyone knows McCain's wife is wealthy.

But McCain is not arrogant in the way that Obama is, and no amount of finger-pointing at McCain is going to change that. Arrogance stems from an aura, not from one's wealth. Obama has an aura of arrogance around him. McCain doesn't have it.
