Well, you've got to figure they've nearly shot their wad for the moment on announcements for Diskcon. It was interesting that Lucent said they could have used a higher performance PRML and get an even greater areal density record. Maybe something is in reserve for another announcement when they need it.

Still, now it's time for them to announce better than expected earnings. That will be the proving factor for getting the stock over $10 and on from there.

Do you know if RDRT has an open conference call?

Did anybody determine if their GMR which was developed with Lawrence Livermore Labs has any non exclusive relation, or requires royalties? I had the impression they just hired the Lab like a contractor.

PS I was surprised to learn that this areal density record is based on a spin stand recording a single track. Does anyone know when this typically translates into a product?
