Patrick, your post was refreshing. I assume you are telling us that the "New Novell" will be reflected in Q4 numbers. I hope so. If not, it would appear that it dosen't matter how good the product is if you compete with the next closest thing to the mafia.

While I agree it starts with the product, the bottom line to investors is sales/revenue, and of course the stock price. The bottom line to most purchasers (it would appear) is mindset. I believe Novell has always had the best product, but, without investor/analyst support, the product will sink due to mindset in IMHO. Why not start publishing lists of large satisifed customers, and comments from within. Lets hear from the users rather than Novell in your advertising.

Advertising reflecting actual users and their opinions about your product would have much more influence on the MIS purchasers than the current advertising IMHO. No offense, but why would unimformed folks believe anything Novell has to say at this point? I believe that some hefty increase in stock price will steal the mindset back to "Maybe Novell is an option".
