The "little itsy bitty problem" is that you guys can't understand English. Let me parse this stuff out for you.

>"Let me be clear: There is no military solution in Iraq and there never was," Obama said in excerpts of the speech provided to The Associated Press.

>"The best way to protect our security and to pressure Iraq's leaders to resolve their civil war is to immediately begin to remove our combat troops. Not in six months or one year — now," the Illinois senator says.

Obama believes that we shouldn't have been in Iraq in the first place because there was no military solution to the Iraq problem (that differs from my opinion, which is that Iraq wasn't much of a problem). Now that we're there, he says we shouldn't "cut and run," which implies pulling everybody out immediately, but rather we should "begin" to remove our combat troops, and have them out in a year to a year and a half later, as he (and many others) think it would be unsafe and irresponsible to remove all troops now.

I disagree with him; I think they can all come home now, but I do think that his position is pretty consistent.
