One thing is certain. Promulgating this war enables many balloons to be flown on one string for all sorts of opportunists, but it's not good for humans overall.

Here are, in my view, the operative questions:

1) Is the war just?
2) Have all possible negotiations become exhausted?
3) Will fighting the war become the lesser of all harms?

Presently, I don't see Bush's so-called "Coalition of the [K]Willing" fitting into any of the above categories.

Let's hope it doesn't happen. I do.
