NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 4, 2000--PayForView.com (OTCBB:PAYV - news) subsidiary Voyager Films
and its sales division, Avalon Film Sales will be attending the 53rd annual Cannes Film Festival in May.
Cannes, the most recognized film festival and market in the world, runs May 10th through May 21st, and will be attended
by film buyers and sellers from territories representing more than 30 countries.
Voyager executives will be present as sellers introducing distributors to upcoming films planned for production. Among the
several projects in the development stage being pitched at Cannes by Voyager are ``The Last Train', the story of the last
days of the life of renowned Russian Writer Leo Tolstoy and ``Inside Out', a touching coming of age story about a group
of Jewish teenagers and their families struggling with their relationships in post -holocaust America.
Avalon Film Sales, Voyagers foreign film sales joint venture with Los Angeles based Aurora Productions, (producers of
the International Hit ``The Rock', starring Sean Connery and Nicholas Cage) will attend to offer its sales and film
financing services to a large contingent of film producers from many different countries.
While attending the market, Voyager will also have the opportunity to acquire content for future broadcast by
PayForView.com. Expertise in negotiating and securing rights for exclusive Internet use rests with the staff of Voyager and
Avalon, whose extensive experience in film sales make it possible.
Voyager Film's President, Warren Wayne said understanding the ramifications for both producer and the new media
broadcaster paramount.
``License agreements in new media can be challenging' said Mr. Wayne. ``Our understanding of traditional distribution
will allow us to assess the on-line and off-line value of a film or digital program. Cannes will be an excellent opportunity
for us to exercise our skills.'
