...I'm boycotting diamonds this holiday season... I had my eye on a 'little something' which had a few diamonds. I pestered The Commander until he agreed that it would make a nice birthday gift. Well, he taped a documentary about DeBeers and how they control the diamond market and keep diamond prices artificially elevated. I became disgusted about this and changed my mind about this birthday gift. Cheers, PW. P.S. I still can't help thinking I've been outsmarted. He's crafty.
