Michael, I totally agree with you. The range we are hearing makes no sense. The truth is nobody knows where the Nasdaq will go this year, but if everyone thinks it is only good for a 10-15% gain then maybe that means we will get a lot more. More money should be out of techs as a result of this view, plus techs are viewed risky here, just what we need for the Nasdaq to run this year. I want to start checking that bull/bear ratio in investors business daily to get a feel for the sentiment. The way I see it, nothing has changed for the technology revolution except that we had lots of irrational exuberance this year and rates that were too low at first and later on too high, plus some short term higher energy prices. Maybe the only other thing that changed is that certain investors like me are going to take the experts less seriously going forward.
