Here's an interesting post from AOL:

To Faris and all:

I have discovered that in the small community in which I live is also an authority on Kazakhstan. This guy lived all over old Russia and taught English for many years. He is fluent in the language and also the names of the Kazakh players. The names roll from his tongue like Clinton, Gore, etc. would from ours.

In short I asked him about the "art of the deal" as per Faris' post on the Kazakhstan conference. He is in 100% agreement with Faris on how business is done in Kazakhstan. Basing a deal without the inclusion of the politically elite is folly. It is just the way things are done. I introduced AIPN to him and he is now a shareowner. He researched this company a lot and never used this board or SI. I also never hyped the stock to him. His decision to
invest was solely his and was made from his knowledge of the area and the art of the deal including the Kazakhs. His main concern to me was why the stock was so cheap knowing the vast amounts of oil that are there and the inclusion of the politically elite. His words to me, "These guys will make money, and we will too."

On the lighter side of his investment in AIPN he sold one stock at 83 to buy in AIPN. The other stock has since gone to 76. He seems happy so far.

Luck to all,

Mo D
