Lysander to survey Pinchi project

2007-05-28 12:32 ET - News Release

Mr. Bryce Porter reports

LYSANDER TO TEST FLY PINCHI PROJECT

Lysander Minerals Corp., Serengeti Resources Inc. and Solomon Resources Ltd. have contracted with Fugro Airborne Systems Corp. to fly a joint low-level geophysical survey totalling 3,333 line kilometres over their respective landholdings within the area of the Hogem batholith in northcentral British Columbia.

The Lysander portion of the survey, totalling 710 line kilometres, will include much of its 100-per-cent-owned Pinchi project, which covers 28,760 hectares and is currently subject to an option agreement with Teck Cominco Ltd. (see news in Stockwatch Feb. 20, 2007). Target areas include the junction of the northeast-trending Ha Ha fault with the Pinchi fault, where altered Duckling Creek complex rocks are associated with a major magnetic anomaly, and the extension of the Lorraine-Slide mountain northwest mineralized trend on to the Pinchi project area.

Magnetic surveys have greatly assisted in discovery of alkalic copper-gold deposits. Further, Fugro's electromagnetic resistivity systems have proven very useful in the definition of drill targets. Flying is projected to commence in mid-July and results should be available in late summer.

We seek Safe Harbor.
