But Kerry maligned his fellow vets...... No, he didn't. He said he was TOLD that the vets committed atrocious things like rape, cutting off heads, burning villages & etc & etc and that such things were happening on a daily basis with the full knowledge of commanders up to the highest level. In a sense, Kerry has already offered an apology by admitting that as a young 31 years ago, he had spoken a little too stridently and way right over the top. In other words he admitted he mis-spoke.
