I play my role on the SI stage with glee. Sometimes i get a little carried away i know but for the most part i am that guy both parties need to convince. Because i said at this point i was going to vote obama, does not mean when in booth i will. I also liked the pick of palin because mccain had to get away from experience against change match up where he more and more was looking like a crotchety old man. Sarah Palin got some nice words the other day from Andrew Sullivan who i respect regarding her view on gays. Like Rudy G. she has friends who are gay--real friends not like Ted who is friends with generic gay people. I have gay friends. I am for civil unions. I get sick when i think of two men having sex. I think marriage is between a man and a woman and in Mitts case a man and women. But i do think once day gay marriage will be legal and i as an old codger wont really mind. Just a generation ago sex between a black man and a white women was called having sex with a monkey in the south. Now people view others as people and not in indignified ways. As the great philosophers sonny and cher once said "The Beat Goes On".
