Boring day.

Ok, Paul, since both you, Don, Dennis, and lots here have been successfully utilizing the "high-cash-%" at closing strategy; I have a long/boring on-going story/experience..

I got on-line after lunch last Thurs. and found that Xlnx; after had gapped down to $46(warning+morning down grades) was bouncing back towards $53..I was not familiar w/Xlnx at all; but rushed to a short decision and shorted 400 Xlnx at $52 5/8. I found that the execution was not good at all "solely" due to the way xlnx was trading. Anyway, Xlnx closed strong above $54; and I got to watch the tape(l2) and got a little feel for it's trading patterns.

Anyway, on Friday, as it was dropping and I bot 300 shares at $52 1/4..(very relaxed cuz I already have the 400 short shares)...then comfortably sold the 300 shares close to $54; then this morning; I bot 400 shares at $52, and sold at $54 again..and I just bot 300 shares back at $52 1/2 as I am writing this post..."I am actually using the 400 short shares as an effective stop-order"!!

This is sorta interesting; any thoughts!? Thanks!
