I think there had been quarters where CDMA subs adds worldwide had exceeded 2.5M. Check the CDG site. I have no time to check it myself now.

Oops....I thought he was trying to say that the major carriers had averaged only 800,000 net adds this quarter (per carrier) vs. 2.5m in a prior quarter. Either way....the statement makes no sense.
