Interesting but here again aren't we talking about market share and compatibility issue. People will put up with less then the best in terms of technology, if they don't notice the difference and they gain portability of work from one site to the other. One of the reason, in the business world Microsoft grew to become the gorilla because they supported the defecto business machines, that is IBM PCs in the 80s.
