Biowa, that is my understanding as well although I do not know if the financial arrangement between OncorMed and AFFX has been disclosed. This is from the earlier press release Affymetrix will market the GeneChip p53 assay for research use only to leading academic centers, pharmaceutical companies and reference labs. OncorMed (AMEX:ONM), a leading provider of gene-based cancer diagnostic services, has been a collaborator in the development of the GeneChip p53 assay. OncorMed is currently completing an extensive validation study of the GeneChip p53 assay in preparation for the introduction of a clinical service in its CLIA-certified laboratory in Gaithersburg, Maryland later this summer.
