And they continue to come out of the woodwork - RSG Searchgold Resources Inc - Searchgold has claims in the Lac Rocher area Searchgold Resources Inc RSGShares issued 4,332,285 1999-01-22 close $0.45 Tuesday Jan 26 1999 Mr. M. Henri Perron reports The company already owns seven claims close to Lac Rocher, in Quebec's northwest area; where Nuinsco Resources recently announced a major copper-nickel discovery. The Scott West block consists of seven claims three kilometres north of Lac Rocher. This property covers a sequence of paragneiss, close to a pegnatitic granit intrusive. The presence of six input anomalies in the centre of the property in contact between the intrusive and the paragneiss could be made into massive sulphides. Until now, few works have been done on the property. An E.M.H. electromagnetic survey and a magnetic survey have successfully been done in 1997, to confirm the presence of the input anomalies. A BeepMat survey done in 1998 identified a conductive zone close to the surface where the input anomalies were found, confirming the great potential of this area.
