I've seen coverage in the Times.

The have had a few articles, just reporting it. They haven't gone after this story. Neither has the Post. Same with the Networks. They lack of serious reporting on it by these sources has been the subject of a lot of criticism by the blogs, et al.

They consider the UN sacrosanct, and don't want to knock it. They love to feature UNESCO stories of happy third world children singing "Kumbaya." After all, they always point to it as the "solution" to all FA problems. The UN has always been the Foreign Affairs arm of the Democratic party. :>)

OTOH, the right does not like the UN, and loves to go after it. This is the best opportunity to do so ever.

Just ask yourself how they all would have handled it if it had been a corruption story of this size in the Bush Admin.
