What AMD processor are you getting on that laptop. Funny, I was just looking at replacing mine tonight. I prefer Lenovo or Toshiba. (My last 2 have been Toshiba and never died, just got noticably slow). I haven't been keeping up on the latest tech. I went on the AAFEEs site to avoid any sales tax but they only had Mac, HP and Dell. The best AMD I saw was 2.4G with 8 G of RAM. They didn't mention what video cards were in them. I'm curious what are good processors etc. I don't need the latest, greatest gaming laptop but do want something fairly fast since I tend to keep them for 10 years. I generally only run charting software but also some HUGE excel spreadsheets. I track all kinds of Fed, BLS, energy data going back since the beginning of time.
