A brief Windows primer. why.net Windows are a strong continuation pattern. The two we've had already have obviously been bullish. Three Windows, however, indicate that an issue is overextended. We closed up the Window that was formed this a.m. so now only have TWO windows to contend with. Windows are also a good place to look for Support/Resistance. Look where support came in this a.m. Right at the bottom of the Window at 36 5/8. Closing this a.m.'s Window is a good sign if you're bullish. Longterm uptrend is free to continue now that we are back to only having TWO windows to contend with. It is natural for Windows to have the tendency to fill in, however there is a BIG difference between FILLING in the Window on a closing basis or just TESTING it on an intraday basis. If we were to CLOSE under the last Window it would be bearish.(I do not expect this to happen) An intraday TEST of the Window at 35ish is to be expected and is a good thing for the long term health of the uptrend. I am looking at that Window to Go Big again. In the meantime I will continue to daytrade for quarters and halfs. For ex.- I was daytrading the hell out of it when it was bouncing around at 30-33, but when I saw the right signals I bought a BIG position with all the ammo I could muster and sat on it. The first Window looks like it could remain open as it happened on BIG volume and right at the 50DMA as it did. It's the end of the week and Anyone that bought at 30-31 like I did has a 25% gain. This looks like a natural place for profitaking.
