On the plus side, this 'proposal' has so many holes in it that it's laughable. They repeal all the taxes which pay for the subsidies 'right away', but keep the subsidies going till 2020, maybe later. Did they mention how that gets paid for? They get rid of the mandate, but insurance companies must not refuse those with pre existing conditions. How does that get paid for if the young don't have to buy? Who determines what 'pre existing' conditions the insurance companies have to cover you for, as opposed to being shoved into the 'high risk' pools? I think I just figured it out, since low income sick people, especially those in their 50's and 60's will no longer be able to afford decent insurance, 'problem solved'.... I don't see any way they get 60 votes to get the key parts of 'this replacement' passed, so what will they do then???

John

PS - For that matter, how do they pay for anything in here at all, since their 'tax' on employer provided 'cadillac' plans does not kick in till 2024... It's all BS...
