I forget who said this, regarding the monetization of a couple trillion last couple years (not including the backstops) that he expected there would be an event in the next few years in which the Fed would absorb some seemingly incomprehensible amount onto it's books. He threw out 50 trillion dollars' worth. When I look at the machinations, I can't help but think Benny and the Gyps have a God complex going, and when pushed to the absolute bursting point, the implosion will be so threatening that a Fed panic will ensue and something like 10, 20, 50? trillion will appear overnight.

Not yet... let him keep pushing this out a couple more years, and a black hole will be coming around to visit.
