Dear Ken: Yes, it was a terrible tragedy. While his main home was in N.C. he actually has a home here in S.Fla about 20 miles from me. You might be interested in knowing that I sat in the PIT when FireBall Roberts was racing at the Daytona 500 only a couple years after it had opened. The father of a girl I was dating was friends of Fireball Roberts and thus I got to meet him and watch the race from his pit. Didnt know at the time I was watching history in the making. JDN
