The main competition INTC faces is the competition between its own products. Undeniably AMD, Cyrix, etc are also the players in the PC semiconductor arena; however, the profit margin for INTC is greater due to much greater volume production. Therefore, actually, INTC needs to minimize the conflicts between its products of different stages. I believe INTC took a postive step to resegment its market to meet the demands of different customers. By the way, I do not think that if INTC sinks by a great margin, other tech stocks will not sink in accordance. However, fortunately, INTC's problems are still within not without. Go INTC! Go MUEI!! Go SGI!!! Go APM!!!! Go CKSG!!!!!
