Some positive news about Sun Microsystems IMHO: They will be releasing the entire line of servers with the USIII chip which should have some compelling characteristics that enterprise IT purchasers will want. iPlanet has become a more mature software product. Solaris will be seen to be a better alternative to Linux since it has been developed to a greater extent and has been accepted by some of the biggest ISP and enterprise co's; Zander has mentioned new earning opportunities for Sun Microsystems; Cobalt acquisition will integrate well in the Sun Micro line of small business appliance requirements to the largest enterprise buyer; Storage will start to show up as a profit center for SUNW; Services will continue to grow and Europe Asia and South America will continue to grow at faster rate vs US but US will pick up in first half of 2002 when interest rate cuts will be reflected in earnings and allocation to equities. IMHO
