Your quoted commentary only supports my point. It shows another example of the type of elitism that I'm talking about.

Elitism is overdone as a criticism, its likely that most senior politicians have a dose of arrogance and elitism, esp. ones who are running for president. But since the charge was being brought up, I figure its best to mention which candidate it fits most.

Both the Obama comment I quoted, and the one you quote, smack of elitism.
