I've never invested in LEAPs. I know Judy used to trade them with success (she referred to them as place-holder LEAPS, and used them as a proxy for the shares). Could be a good strategy if you pick the right stock. I'm sure 3 months from now Mary Meeker will come out with something nice to say about AMZN.
