Ashby told the JPMorgan conference they'd announce VoIP the first week of April. From the article: but analysts give the edge to telco equipment makers. Chambers concedes that he and his rivals must make data gear as reliable as voice--a task he's confident he can accomplish. ''Cisco is in a position to lead this industry,'' he says. A point many on this thread have been trying to make for some time and why I believe ASND will be bought and why giants like Cisco can't rest on their laurels but will have to team or merge with the telco equipment makers --- if Chambers is to lead as he claims he can.
