Liberalism does not promote nationalism, patriotism, nor militarism. Conservatism does. Rather than commenting on the Orwelian name "Liberalism", let me comment on the true name: "Socialism". It gave use Lenin, Stalin, Hitler, Mao, Pol Pot in the last century. That's enough of a caution for a reasonable person not to risk voting for any Socialist. But then, not everybody is reasonable... Please.........Dave has things confused enough. Don't you add your own ideological twist to this mess. I am dropping the subject.....its no fun trying to communicate with ideologues. Its like dealing with recalcitrant children.
