If Bush is defeated badly, all followers of his including Frist will be taken down a notch or two. Plus many neocon candidates will be defeated in the fall. The GOP can then regroup, cast out the most dishonest corrupt forces (like big oil lobbyists and Christian right extremists) and rally around more moderate honest leadership.
