My point was, if you are trading with 10 or 12 thousand in your account you have put yourself under a lot of pressure to make money each time out.

If you are trading and you have $100K and you foul up the first time out, losing 2 grand is an expensive lesson. Losing 2 grand is a permanent lesson for someone who is undercapitalized. I, and this is just me, don't find that trading one contract is viable. Having the $13K that you speak of allows you to trade only one contract. Trading one contract, I can speak from experience, can be a pain in the neck. It is literally an issue of flipping a coin. Without a solid discipline as to entry, exit, stop-loss one would go absolutely bananas, in my opinion.
