I went through the steps using msconfig. The low ink warning has been eliminated but now XP won't stay in the Normal Startup mode. It stays in the Selective Utility Startup mode and gives me a window telling me it is in Selective Utility mode. This window can be closed.

Unless you folks have other ideas, it appears that Bill Gates will let look at the low ink warning window on startup or a Selective Utility window. Both can be manually closed. Other thoughts?

Appreciate the advice and input from Gottfried.
