zonkie there was a race between the favorite and the challenger. Most guessed the favorite would win, as the challenger was not as handsome, in some ways, as the favorite. There was an inner strength the challenger had though. Just an inner self that thought he could be more than folks thought he could be. He felt it in his heart, the majority chuckled at him, calling him bad names. He was a winner that many did not acknowledge. That was until he showed his real abilities. The big Race was soon to be decided. The BIG money was on the favorite, with their country club elitists' friends behind them with THEIR BIG money. It came down to the Big race, and the challenger, against all odds.... won. He went down in history as the horse who could. His name was Seabisquit, not as well-funded as War Admiral, but he made history just the same. He was 15 hands tall, and War Admiral was 18 hands tall. But Seabisquit did not know he should lose, and he went on to win that BIG race, with his jockey, Red Bollard, and showed the world what an underdog could do.
Does that remind any here of another champion?
