Dway, thanks for the insightful commentary and analysis of the IB white paper. You are helping me to form a mental model of the concept, but, as you allude, there are a few important pieces left to fit.

I would appreciate your insights as the story unfolds.

I do want to expand on what I understand the NTAP objectives are for DAFS/VI. InfiniBand will be just one media for DAFS/VI. DAFS/VI will be media agnostic, able to run on GbE, FC, and IB.
