<<<Does Iomega really lose money on each OEM Zip drive sold?>>>

Really folks, sometimes it just takes a little common sense and thinking about such statements against the background of the whole picture. If it is true that IOM is taking a 10-12 dollar loss on all oem zips it sells, then to have retail zips selling at lower and lower prices as margins continue to rise it would be safe to say that when zip sales slow down then IOM would save 10-12 dollar loss on each drive and therby have bigger earnings. I don't think so.
