How old are yours? How much time before you hit the big C?

My son will be a soph next year and my twins freshpersons. So having just finished a year of paying one tuition, I face three years of paying three, then one year of paying two.

And that's before they decide they have to get Masters Degrees or PhDs (at my expense, of course!)

My parents sent me through college. But back then, measured as a percentage of average annual income, the cost was only a fraction of what it is now. Back then a person with a respectable job could afford to pay full freight for a child's college education. No more.
