I remember when both AMZN and YHOO went public. I read a Smart Money magazine article about Amazon two years ago and their plans to go public. Woulda ... shoulda ...coulda ....

I've been asking myself over and over when is the madness going to stop! People are retiring on these search engines. Personally, I'm sick for not partaking in all the fun.

Here's one other thing I can't understand. Amazon.com. No earnings for probably another 2 years. Then there is Barnes & Noble. The largest book retailer in the United States with a superior balance sheet. They just announced that they will start selling books on the net and brought 120 million to the table to get the project underway. Needless to say, I'm sure you can guess who's trading at higher multiples.

I'm sure once I start figuring out the craze, the party will be over..
