I can't believe your post "Short position grows as stock drifts downward". Do you really have ANY idea how the game is played? the pros can churn this sucker house to house and drive it to the ground if they want. All it means is that they are covering their own positions with other short positions from other houses. Sorta like "OLD MAID".......see who gets stuck holding the biggest LOSS! can't you see, Shorts are concerned.......there is only a few trading days left to cover their positions relative to year end deadlines. There in perhaps lays the 7.25 rally theory. READ THE FINE PRINT.
