The last few minutes of trading today seemed very odd to me. The "ask" size in the quotes I got from Schwab showed a size in the hundreds of thousands of shares, with hardly any shares (relatively) at the "bid," and trading seemed brisk, yet the price hardly moved at all until the last seconds of the day.

I got the strong impression something was about to happen, and that somebody knew about it, yet I don't see any news.

Anybody have any thoughts?
