I realise that Brinker is the topic of this board, and I apologise in advance for posting something off-topic.

That said, I think Brinkers Boo-Boos are but a water droplet in the ocean compared to this bailout plan. It is one huge sinkhole, and please remember that it is OUR MONEY that is getting squandered!

Here is how a smartass at JPMorgan Chase gives his accounting:

"We've lent some of it. We've not lent some of it. We've not given any accounting of, 'Here's how we're doing it,'" said Thomas Kelly, a spokesman for JPMorgan Chase, which received $25 billion in emergency bailout money. "We have not disclosed that to the public. We're declining to."

Howz that again??? You are not going to give any accounting for 25 BILLION of OUR MONEY? I was so steamed after seeing that BS that I cancelled my Chase credit card immediately, and I told them why.

Here is a link to the article Where'd the bailout money go? Shhhh, it's a secret if you feel in the mood to read and weep:

Cheers (or not!)
