"Its amazing how these guys pretend that reality in America doesn't exist:" I guess this is the result of the earlier criticism about how Obama was "reaching above his station". I am guessing the righty blogs were all abuzz with how that can't be a racial reference. Since "uppity" was brought up, they convinced themselves of that also. What I found laughable is inoys saying it was a term he heard only used by black folk when he was growing up. The term uppity has been used in books, plays.....I think even movies.....by white folk but he never came across those uses. And of course, if blacks say it to each other, than its not racist.
