Time for my annual rant...............

Thank God national recruiting day is over, so the talking heads can get on to something else.

I know my alma mater didn't get a top 10 class. They never do. Texas, of course, did like always.
They have been in the top 10 for the past __ years. Fill in the blanks. For this, they went 5-7 last
year. Big whoop.

We get a kid who was the Texas class 5A player of the year. His team lost in the state finals when
he got hurt. Threw for almost 5,000 yards. Ranked as the 50th best player in the Dallas area. I
guess you have to be taller than 6'!" to be noticed as a quarterback today. Sheesh.

Texas got the #1 qb in the state, of course. Great for them. A&M got the top two the last two years.
How did they do, you ask? They both transferred, that's how.

Let's see how it plays out in 3 or 4 years and how many stay out of jail.

I hate national recruiting day.
