I do not agree with your statement that the computer industry is not cyclical to a certain degree. The reason they have been doing so well for th epast couple of years is that capital spending by industries has been booming for the last couple of years. However, this can not last forever. Another reason for the great 3rd quarter is due to the announcement of INTC in August about the change in its pricing policy which lead to a more orders compared normal 3rd quarter before. Before the change of pricing strategy, many computer companies waited for the price cut in Nov. to place order, now they do not need to wait anymore. That is why I think the coming 4th quarter might be disappointing considering the tremendous result of the 3rd quarter. I have a long position in INTC, and have been a INTC investor for many years. I just feel that it is the perfect time to sell when somebody is talking INTC $200/share, and a bubble is in the making. I will buy back later at a much lower price. Small investors never make money being a part of the herd. Please do not tell me that I do not have a good understanding if technology. I bought INTC when everybody was scared about the pentium flaw in 1994. INTC increase five folds from then, believe me it is time to sell.
