He is 100% correct but it still changes nothing. Israel, Great Britain(for how long?) and the US stand alone in the "global" war on terror. Most of the rest are only interested when they are at risk. And if they could trade these 6 million Jews in to save their ass, they would do it in a heartbeat. After all many did just that in WW2. And if they succeed at this, what to they get? Absolutely nothing because israel has little to do with bin ladens agenda. Even if it calmed the arab masses, he would find another issue to anger the insane mob of the arab world. Just look at iraq. From the time al zarqawi warned that they would lose to the US without creating strife, bloodshed and civil war, they have altered the situation on the ground and with the help of the media reversed the perception that iraq is winnable. Arabs dont hate others more than they hate themselves and there may never be peace there until they are crushed and become open to modern ideas like Germany and Japan post WW2. Can you imagine what the US would have done to Falujah if it were in japan in 1946? Well perhaps we should do that but then again perhaps we dont have either the will or the resources. And thats where the dems may have a point. If you want to fight this GWOT in multiple locations, perhaps it needs to be paid for. Maybe eliminate social program but perhaps also some of the less productive tax cuts as well. We dont only need more troops in iraq--we need a bigger army period. Mike
