Don, Your observation is right on. Not a bear out there I can see. And yes, I was quite bullish from Dec thru May and started turning bearish in June. The only "objective" FA (wash my mouth out with soap) measure I have is the SCY ratio and it is hysterically bearish right now at historical lows... for which J6P could care less and the same with most other bulls. All it takes is something to trigger things and away we go... the problem is, that trigger may not come for another 400 points yet... straight up??? Thanks for your recognition that my position may be a reasonable one even though you might not agree with it. It is the most difficult position to be in when everyone seems to differ with you and the market is going against you also! (But then SOMETIMES, that is where the biggest rewards are found... as you well know!) Thanks again, Bill PS Ye olde DOW looks like it going to open up about 50 of the 400 points this morning...
