Notice that only two buys and the rest are volume trading between bid and off set of the bid. Now if I can sell at the bid and rebuy at bit lower I make a profit. Now leave the ask alone but make a bid on us what is called squaring off. Read the forbes article on how MMs make money they need volume to make money.
