Sam & Others:

Today is a blip. I believe that AMAT will comedown during the rest of the week. Everything depends on what Alan G. is going to talk on Tuesday. That is THE ECONOMIC INDICATOR. Because Fed Chief gets most of the data much ahead of the general public and if he uses the words like "exuberance", "unsustainable growth in market",etc., etc., then the market will tank and see a new bottom at 6100 level or even lower at a much rapid pace.

I am really happy that AMAT is at the current level. I would like more experienced person like Teri S. to comment and fill in the strategy that we need to take.

Another observation. When you look at May 50 calls. The premium is $5 1/8. ($1 above the trading). When you look at May 55 puts. The premium is around $3 1/2 and May 50 put is $1 1/4. This data suggests me that there will be a downward pressure. I am nervous to go put on my favourite stock. But I think the safe bet is to sell short on short-term basis. Any comments and ideas are always welcome.

Regards

Kumar.
