Jeff: Nice post re "Intel is winning the 64 bit war now" I'm aware of all the positive news you pointed out and that has been probably more important and reinforced my investment decision. I was talking about the 500/1700 as another factor - a comment at a level that an Analyeast reading the thread could relate too. It's not incorrect though - one of the hottest outlet shop here is selling PII-300 LX system at less than $1600 - HD and Ram leave mouch to be desired though. Keep up the faith! Regards JB
